  15. I,m having trouble with my kickstart 3.1 and my A500 REV.5
  16. The "manual" says to solder pin 1 & 31 together with a wire
  17. ( the same as with kick2.0 ) and I did.
  18. Plug the (EEP)ROM into the socket, switch the power on and.... nothing 
  19. happens. Only a black screen.
  20.  
  21. Please can somebody tell me what's wrong and what can be done about it.
  22. I don't want to flush $100 down the drain (= price kick3.1)
